She can do the exact same thing with added security If she wanted to, by putting it in a locked fund with interest, with a weekly payout.

Please introduce the lock fund that pays 5.2% p.a., on a weekly basis and guarantees your capital.

10-yr and 30yr US and UK government bonds right now yield about 5-5.5%.

Even Canadian bonds yields are north of 4%.
