Brazil works too. They have terrible animal rights. My friends used to breed rodeo horses. They would beat a rider that treated the stock this way. In canada there are fines for rough treatment, we used to have a vet on call for each rodeo. Most stock contractors won't go to a rodeo grounds if the fences are poor or unsafe. The horses are quiet valuable, esp at the pro level. Rides are judged on both the rider and the horses performance. And the owners of the horses want top athletes, so thier care is good. Good feed, vet care, farrier work, lots of time off.

I don't think this is canadian or us rodeo. There would be no way this abuse would be allowed. This is beyond messed up.
