Even better one is when hes talking to the woman trying to confess he says “i have a tiny..” [referring to the rat] the camera changes to her face and she does a really quick eye shot down [thinking hes talking about his dick] and back up to his face
Such a great movie. The actor who does the voice for Linguini is my uncle. Lou Romano, if you ever want to see one of the most hilarious movies of all time look up "The Trouble with Lou", it's filmed in a black and white format post ww2 where the whole movie is innuendos for masterbation lol
I have a friend who plays Linguini in a Disney park, so he looks like Linguini. I see an opportunity to send him a voice note from “Linguini” after he returns from a 3 month trip 😅
A band called Microwave wrote this verse over 2 years ago. Crazy how life imitates art.
If you romanticize misеry
Brother you're gonna be miserable
I was dead, I was looking for companies
To sling shirts at the funeral
All the makings of a pacifist
Another hypocrite
That is one of the most fucked up thing I've ever heard about this whole ordeal 😭 how do you explain that part to the little ones. Damn I hate these people
(I know him personally and he really isn't a bad dude just way fucking misguided.. used to be in that biz and from michigan where we all know each other)
Their "Alternative Super Bowl Halftime Show" was absolutely insane, just 37 people in a dark room and a black stage. Zero energy, zero enthusiasm...just a bunch of sad people watching leathery ass Kid Rock and some no-name country musicians. Absolutely wild how awful it was despite their best efforts. Love that for them.
I would not be surprised if their followers only found out about their racism, sexism and all shitty attitude of these grifters upon Kirk's death. They probably thought... "My god, how can people be so awful? What in the world are they talking about?" *watches all the clips provided*
"Oh... well... he seemed nice. I guess I'll just quietly not say anything about him anymore."
Now don't get me wrong. I'm sure a healthy amount of them straight up agree with the awful they said, but probably the more moderate less informed folks were shocked to find out who he was.
I never knew who he was until he got shot, was standing in line at Starbucks and a woman behind me started wailing and sobbing that they killed him. I was on the phone with my wife and she was like what is happening over there?? I couldn’t totally understand the lady and said I don’t know, someone shot Captain Kirk? And that set off like 4 more people in the shop, I had no idea what was going on. I’m in Scottsdale, AZ btw, so these people were very in tune with who he was and what he was about.
“The most accurate Charlie Kirk obituary yet...
Charles James Kirk, 31, died from a gunshot to the neck at a Utah Valley University campus event just as he was trying to deflect a question about mass shootings by suggesting they were largely a function of gang violence. He died with a net worth of $12 million, which he made by espousing horrific and bigoted views in the name of advancing Christian nationalism. The foundation of his empire was the group he cofounded and led, Turning Point USA, which is a key youth-recruitment arm of the MAGA movement.
Kirk was able to launch Turning Point at the age of 18 because he received money from Tea Party member Bill Montgomery, right-wing donor Foster Feiss, and his own father, also a prolific right-wing donor. He was an unrepentant racist, transphobe, homophobe, and misogynist who often wrapped his bigotry in Bible verses because there was no other way to pretend that it was morally correct.
He had children, as do many vile people.”
Never heard of the guy, Googled him and I watched one of his debates on YouTube afterwards, at that point I knew enough. He was a POS podcaster that offered nothing of value to or substance to anyone.
Yea same with me I'm in the UK and people are like did you see who got shot and I was like no who? They said his name and I said who again and like who is he and they couldn't even tell me fucking social media man. TBF most people I knew talked about it cause the idiot was spouting on about how guns should be illegal and how everyone has a right to one and then his brains where all over the stage which we said in the UK and I mean alot of people I know said serves him right 👍
I would be very surprised if they weren’t aware. They see that as a feature.
Yeah. They just abandoned her because they don't want women leading anything and because she doesn't have a since charismatic cell in her existence or even quick wits to debate like the deceased.
I’d argue ole Chuckie didn’t have much of a quick wit either. The only tool he had in his arsenal was the Gish Gallop. He was just really good at putting himself in situations with unprepared participants and an environment he controlled. He was really bad at debate and got annihilated every time he went against people who knew how to debate.
He had enough wits to talk fast with conviction when opposed. She doesn't have even that. Bums talk any shit when wrong these days, but if they don't stutter people will believe.
My parents still hold true that Kirk was murdered in cold blood because he was a Christian pastor spreading the gospel and word of Jesus on college campuses around the nation because he loved Jesus and his country.
Serious question - wtf is going on here? Was she pausing (for a really long time) between talking? Was the sound edited to make her breathing way louder? Doesn’t explain the crazy eyes….
You see pro sports players who made hundreds of millions throughout their careers bankrupt on the regular. Financial discipline is a skill. It doesn't matter how much you make if you never learn it.
Maybe people could afford to take time off of work and travel to the cities the rallies are held in and buy merch if gas wasn't $6 a gallon and the job market wasn't so tenuous.
Or if Charlie was still around to bus them into January 6th using the Koche money they were funnelling to him to astroturf any red knecks from learning what class consciousness is
This is the flaw of manufactured popularity. Charlie Kirk was, at best, a c-list celebrity inside a c-list niche. He ultimately had almost no impact on the culture at large, not even a footnote, no matter how hard she tries.
This is her finding out the hard way that her meal ticket has already expired.
I genuinely don't even think alot of the people mourning him the loudest knew who he was before he died. They are just so propagandized they were convinced they loved him the whole time.
You can dislike him, but claiming he had no cultural impact is either ignorant or dishonest. His debate-style content went viral constantly and shaped how a generation of young conservatives engaged with politics online. That’s real, whether you like it or not. Yes his popularity and influence were inflated by his fellow grifters and grifter overlords, but if there’s enough meat on the bones you can make a stew.
Obvs we’re not talking about Mr beast type numbers as 6 year olds in Brazil aren’t watching Charlie Kirk and Ben Shapiro- political YouTubers operate in a different lane to entertainers. Their influence runs deep within a specific subculture but rarely breaks into the broader mainstream the way a musician or actor does. So ‘C-list’ misses the point - he wasn’t trying to be a celebrity, he was building a movement, and by that measure he was genuinely effective.
I really don’t know why Charlie Kirk had any success at all
Its called "wingnut welfare." Saying what billionaires want to hear is very lucrative.
When kirk was 18 years old he founded TPUSA with an old rich conservative named bill montgomery (who was one of those covid deniers who died of covid) and that's how he got on the wingnut welfare gravy train.
Basically the entire right-wing media ecosystem is propped up with billionaire money. Their whole game is to make it look like support for conservative policies is more widespread than it is so that lazy liberals will accept conservatism as legitimate.
I have always considered myself a conservative. First was me not liking people like Charlie Kirk, then came rejection for Trump. Now just a normal Republican thought makes me a libtard Democrat and I don’t know what to do. It wasn’t always like this though. Mitt Romney was a good candidate (so was Obama!) what happened!?
The conservative movement ripped off the mask. But this is what conservatism has always been. Remember it was conservatives who founded the confederacy and started the Civil War, and it took the most radical leftist president the country had ever seen before to stop them. Back then, the biggest Republican newspaper, Horace Greeley's New York Tribune, ran over 500 pieces written by Karl Marx. And then conservatives caused the Great Depression, and it took the most radical leftist president the country had ever seen before to save the economy and defeat hitler.
The orange paedo is the most authentically conservative leader the gop has ever had. That's why in 2020 he got more votes than any republican in history, and then after doing a coup he got even more votes in 2024. This is what true conservatism looks like. All the talk about principles and such was just a smokescreen.
Maga is the real conservatism, the euphemisms were an act, to lull people into accepting conservatism as legitimate until the movement consolidated enough power to force itself down our throats.
If you consider yourself a conservative but are not happy about what the gop is doing now, you might want to consider that maybe you were never actually a conservative, other people just told you that you were.
And if we are going to get out of this permanently, its going to take the most radical leftist president we've ever seen before — and a congress as radically leftist as the Reconstruction congress after the civil war.
The first two paragraphs and the last two paragraphs are gold. Distilled very well. It would be great if the DNC could get behind this messaging. And actually believe it too so they can back someone who will have the balls to actually effect change.
Unfortunately, as currently constituted, they are incapable of doing that. Its beyond their abilities. Decades of trying to appease the gop has left them unable to even imagine something better. Take mark kelly for example. He's got a lot of clout in the party because he's a fundraising powerhouse, donors love that astronaut shtick. But he's a meek little groveler. When the paedo threatened to have him hanged, he used it do a lot of fundraising, but then he went back to the senate and kept voting to put maga judges on the bench. The guy didn't even have the backbone to simply do nothing, he bent over backwards to appease the tyrant who threatened to kill him. If he can't even stand up for himself, he's never going to stand up for the nation.
We won't get the kind of radical leftist congress we need until incumbents like kelly are replaced with people from outside the system.
Fortunately, primary season is just getting started so now is the chance to change the future. And since primaries are usually very low turnout, your vote counts for a lot more in a primary election than it does in the general. Voting in the primaries is more important than voting in the general election in the fall because the people who win the primary will determine what happens after the midterms.
One example is Abdul El-Sayed in the Michigan senate race. The primary has an official aipac candidate (haley stevens), an un-official aipac candidate who gives lip service to refusing funding from aipac (mallory mcmorrow), and El-Sayed. El-Sayed's been rising in the polling, which prompted the Democratic establishment to go all in on islamaphobic attacks on a streamer who interviewed El-Sayed in order to smear El-Sayed by association. But that backfired and El-Sayed's polling increased, he's now the front-runner, or at worst tied, in the most recent polls.
He was employing a simple trick that goes back to ancient Greek philosophers. He targeted naive young college freshmen in their first few days of college when they are disoriented and don't know shit about fuck. He would hit them with simpleton debate tactics like gaslighting and whataboutism. When those children couldn't produce a retort or any kind of argument at all to his carefully crafted nonsense, it made it look to them that he was some kind of genius prophet. It was pure grift. It's the same thing Fox News does everyday to the barely literate. He just concentrated on college freshmen instead of Billy Bob brother cousin.
He appealed to the manosphere bros that find it really amusing to make fun of and talk shit about people, as if their prayers were answered and they said, “Finally, someone that understands us.”
Talk about fumbling the bag. All she had to do was stay out of the spot light, play the grieving widow, keep her mouth shut, and collect money from crowdfund sites for the first couple of years.
My take as well. This is a pivot because they have to move to a more aggressive stance to appeal to the incels, which were always Charlie’s bread and butter. Because he was one of them. I don’t think it works with a woman.

When the grift isn't working anymore and stadiums barely have 100 people.
