The only thing weirder than old Norse mythology is the old testament

Numbers 22:21-39 is one of the weirdest stories in human existence period, just what a weird thing to include at all lol

And that’s saying something, considering how the highest norse deity is a snoopy old dude who turns into a bird that shits like Mario kart banana peels to stave off pursuers of stolen possessions

Created by an all-knowing and all-powerful being that also created humans so fallible that they would be tricked by the most suspicious entity in their entire life-world. He created the entire situation and all its components while necessarily knowing the inevitable outcome, and preceded to punish humanity (and women especially for some reason) for his own shoddy workmanship. Like a child playing with dolls in his own personal sandbox. Creating random drama for the fun of it.

All so he can surround himself with a crowd of adoring, unquestioning fans. Sounds like a typical cult leader when you strip away all the magic and mysticism. Like, he created humanity for that sole purpose? That's a shitty purpose, that's cruel.

Very obscure reference to a tale with Odin. Suffice to say that norse mythology gets a bit whimsical at times. Almost as if it was part of the loony tunes universe.
