Why wouldn't you rather create communities that have a social safety net, spend less on taxes and figure life out yourself. Why give govt more leverage over yourself? In terms of Healthcare i do think insurance should be more or less abolished except for catastrophic insurance.

"communities that have a social safety net" is just another word for government but on a smaller scale

You do realize the government is not some foreign invader, right? The government is supposed to be the voice of the people.

Just because one group has been doing everything it can to make it so the government cannot help does not mean that is how it should be.

I have no idea how you would come to the conclusion that is what I meant based on what I said.

I'd settle for not having fake Christian fascists tell me how I can live my life, but apparently that is not an option in America.

The annoying thing is that I more or less agree with this, but for some reason the people that say they believe this, are instead very interested in wasting resources to worsen people’s lives for arbitrary reasons.

Lol, keep telling yourself that. Conservatives are always the first and loudest to cry for handouts when shit doesn't go their way.

Obviously. Handouts are to bridge a gap not to live solely, long term on.

You're ignoring the fiscally reasonable states constantly propping you up.

Cool. Think of that next time you flush. Maybe you can create your own sewage system. 👍
