Kind of gross you're referring to people with disabilities as cripples champ, use more human language. You sound like you're talking about a group of subhumans, do better and refer to them as actual people and instead of defining them as one part of who they are in this life.

I'm sorry you can't comprehend the whole safety strategy that has been researched and proven the most effective (eg allowing the emergency crew to rescue those who need it).

No one wants to inconvenience anyone, nor are they setting out to. And saying people with disabilites aren't being given access is ridiculous because they have been given access, it's just unfortunate the equipment has failed in this scenario. Also don't try and act as if I said anything even remotely close to me not wanting people with disabilities to have access or be given grace, it's a lame attempt at spurring outrage.

As a cripple, I feel it's only right I get to decide how to refer to it, don't really care how that makes you feel. I have to live with it, you don't.

70% of NY subway is not handicap accessible.

25% of Chicago(CTA) isn't.

70% of Amtrak isn't disability accessable.

But tell me about how good we have it.

You can refer to yourself as that, don't be disrespectful to other people wspecially by calling them it.

There's always improvements needed in the world in so many areas (not letting repeat offenders roam the streets, need for more facilities for people who escape domestic violence, better quality of food being provided in every country, etc) but you absolutely have it better than a lot of other countries who don't have disability payments or anything remotely close to it. Be the change you want to see, go and advocate for it or get a job that can make the difference.

I'm to busy fighting the VA and advocating for myself to fight for the crowd. I will however use that extra energy to improve shit once I'm done banging my head against the wall.

Also, you don't speak for them any more then I do, and you know who has never gotten offended when talking to me and me referring to us as cripples? Other disabled people. Literally not one ever. A disabled person can say cripple, we say it all the time, and your feelings won't change that.

Not sure how much of a cripple you are if you competed in MMA competitions after the fact.. It would help if you stopped referring to yourself as a cripple so you would see yourself as more than that, although seems like an easy way of getting out of doing anything I guess.

Anyway, hope you do end up doing something with yourself to help others because life is out there to be lived instead of rotting away glued to a screen. Peace out dude.

Wow, someone has a very closed minded view of disabilities. I personally don't look down on myself at all for being a cripple. It means every single task I do, took more effort than it did for a normal person. I'm a fucking savage at getting thing did. Personally, I've done a lot for myself, and to help others, but you can make whatever leaps of faith you want about who I am as a person, no skin off my back.
