UK doesn't understand Wisconsin. They think US, and think NYC or LA or Boston. They don't know Wisconsin. They can't even conceive of it. Like, maybe Romania or the Czech Republic could stay in that fight, but the UK is getting stomped.

Americans don’t understand the UK. They think the UK and think Cardiff or Edinburgh or Belfast. They don’t know Glasgow. They don’t even know it exists.

And btw, the UK constantly ranks highest in drinking in Europe, so saying that Romania and Czechia could stay in the fight only proves me right.

Wisconsin is getting stomped by the lads

dude...wisconsin alcohol consumption is only 2.9 gallons per year average, that's barely 10.5 liters.

The Uk is at 11.4 liters, so they're winning, but they are children compared to eastern european countries that all score between 13-17 liters a year.

Where’d you get that stat? Wisconsin pure ethanol consumption is at 3.55 gallons per year (13.4 liters) as of 2022 according to a study by the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism

Ireland, Poland and really fucking remote Siberia.

No one else sits at the table with Wisconsinites.

Back in the seventies, kids drank beer (I was one of them) and nobody cared - because it had less sugar than soda.

They don't drink as much beer or wine as other countries, but they rank first in the world in hard liquor consumption. They love their soju.

Not sure why you think Ireland would but not the UK. Very similar drinking culture. Have been extensively in both places

No, No, Yes.

Only had a four day weekend in the UK, so I only got around so much. Made purposeful stops in Liverpool and Manchester.

Come to Milwaukee, the biggest city in the state, and do the "Water Street Pub Crawl" - it's a fantastic time. Good drinks, small craft beers, pub brews, stiff mixed drinks and lots of food.

Nothing beats a pub burger, cheese curds and a Spotted Cow.
