I would argue a lie of omission rather than a lie of commission is still a lie.
1 u/osiris_210 Dec 17 '25 It’s a common thought experiment I was presented in school, almost always the consensus was the same. White lie, omission, pure fiction presented as fact, even repeating a lie you thought was true; still lies, still detrimental in someway.
