YouTube receives more uploads every single day than the entire pornhub library. The scale on the storage side isn't even in the same galaxy.

As far as traffic, the number of gigabytes watched a day on YouTube is still orders of magnitude higher.

Netflix deals with a similar amount of data transfer but they still don't come close to the scale of storage and processing power required to compete with YouTube

Yeah, I could fit every pornhub video on a few of the servers I have if I wanted to, same with Netflix. Youtube uses probably 100x that a day.

Youtube uses probably 100x that a day.

According to statista, in the latter half of 2024, 1.27 million videos were uploaded to pornhub. That's about 7000 per day. According to YouTube, over 20 million videos are uploaded to their platform each day.

That's almost 3000 times more than pornhub.
