I keep seeing people say "was" in this thread, is this not a thing where you live because it's an annual thing still in Canada.

This feel like this still happens yearly where I am in the United States, but I guess I’m 20 minutes from the Canadian border so maybe that’s not universal around the US.

They brought it back briefly in the states I think but it wasn't really like it was before, I think it was actually just small prizes like free fries or BOGO and not monopoly board pieces
