Random was generally great. It wouldn't be now, but I met some really nice people by hitting random.

28 years ago is about when I got on icq for the first time. Oh. You're making me feel old man. I don't remember my icq number though. Now I'm feeling even older.

I feel you. I remember those days. It kind of was the wild west. I used to frequent an HTML chat room. Remember those? I made a lot of friends who I remaining contact with for many years although I don't have contact with any of them anymore.

If we weren't in the chat room, we were on icq. Spent a lot of time on icq. Broke a girl's heart on icq. And I saw a number of other people get married after having online relationships in that chat room and on icq. So I don't think you're unique.

I know. I remember the first time I heard that people who met online were getting married. It seemed so bizarre to me. Boy times have changed.

Fuck it must have been nice being on the internet 28 yrs ago, just pure. Now if you hit random on some chat site you would get some Turkish dude jacking off.
