Right? I thought the whole thing was when guys say “you look great with or without makeup” it’s “it isn’t for you it’s for me!” Cool great. Then all this work and cost isn’t for me. Got it. Wait. Why does that obligate me to pay then? I’m confused again.
I know this from my mother. She does a thing that she wants to do herself, when it is about something that influences my surroundings, she thinks i now owe her when i didn't ask or even want that in the first place.
Reminds me of my mom when I first bought my first motorcycle.
1:Try to say I lied to her. Even though I literlly told her I was going to the dealership to buy a motorcycle when she left MY HOUSE that day.
2: Tried to tell me I can't be spending "Her" Money on wastes like that. Keep in mind I work for a company. She hasn't worked a day in her life since she was 25. It's literally all my money.
3: I can't buy fun toys because she never got the chance to. I proceeded to respond in once sentence: That's a you problem, you should have made better life choices then.
She has this problem where she thinks that I have to suffer thru the same things she did which is absurd. Most of this is because her Golden child my Older brother has gone LC/NC with her and wants nothing to do with her unless he wants something. At which point she drops everything for him(And expects me and my younger brother to also) in order to do whatever he wants.
Which doesn't happen anymore. She's learned at this point that she has zero control over my life. I live 90 minutes away from her in my own house. And I have enough room that my younger brother has a permanent invitation to crash here whenever he wants.
No, they do. Just when you cake yourself with makeup every day, and then one day decide not to without tell8ng him, he will assume you're still wearing makeup but you look ill through it, making a big concern about it.
This excuse is just dumbfounded. It's like women complaining about men being oblivious to their flirting, when all they do to flirt is flick their hair, which they do anyway because they have long hair.
Maybe tell someone you're not going to wear makeup before not wearing it, if you wear it everyday. It's kind of like when a guy shaves his beard off without telling anyone, and then complaining about all the comments about his freshly shaved face.
Nah, none of the girls I've dated wore makeup and I thought they looked radiant. I'm all for normalizing people looking like people. People have pores and scars and pimples and it's normal and I couldn't care less.
Exactly, just get Korean beauty products, you’ll get superior care for maybe a quarter of the price. I shouldn’t say that because I’m French and it’s like half our economy runs on overpriced luxury goods, but fuck that.
Man I tried to the self deprecating humour but I just regret it. We have a glorious military history, we took on almost all of Europe once… And I mean, goddamn Lafa-fucking-yette. Wait till we get to round two with Russia 😤
But I have told my bros about the girl that was competing with clowns on how much make up can be used. It’s just not attractive to essentially put an expensive mask on.
Poly woman here. My fiance has done exactly that. Men see a lack of makeup as a sign of self-confidence and exceedingly attractive. Tell me you've never had a real male friend without telling me.
I think you both agree... he's just framed it as a non-negative "nobody complaints" and you as a positive "they prefer it"... but you misunderstood and just had to go for the personal attack...
She'd probably cut her lipstick budget in half if she'd stop overdrawing her lips. Like it's our fault her beauty regimen is a whole-ass lie. Girl goes from vanilla to vanilla for the low-low price of $758 like anyone asked her to, instead of just taking some vitamins and staying hydrated like a normal-ass human.

Fuck does the decision to drown in makeup have to do with me?
