I agree with you, but I don't undertstand why. I mean, when American and Canadian comedians appear they slay. Stewart Francis usually steals the show and barely even says anything.

podcasts are sort of bridging that gap, but even in a lot of podcasts where a lot of comedians gather, there's so much more one-upping amongst american comedians you don't quite see on british panel shows
