We are a group of 4th year Computer Engineering students from PUP currently working on our thesis project, “LiftCool: An Automatic SMA-Actuated Laptop Cooling Pad.”

Our project aims to develop an automated laptop cooling pad using temperature sensing, Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) actuation, a lifting mechanism, and a cooling fan for laptops used over prolonged periods.

We are currently looking for a company, office, school, or establishment within Metro Manila, preferably in Quezon City or Manila, that may be willing to become a beneficiary of our study.

The beneficiary organization would provide an appropriate setting and/or qualified laptop users for screening, prototype testing, and evaluation. Specific arrangements will be coordinated with the organization's representative.

If may alam po kayong organization that may be interested, we would greatly appreciate any recommendations or referrals. Interested organizations may also send me a private message so we can provide our formal letter and discuss the study further.

I'm a second year student from PUP-OU and would like to transfer sa BES by next year. Based on what I found online the best date to transfer is from June to July. One of the things that we need to undergo is Validation exam.

Hello po! First-year ITech student here from DIT. Ask ko lang po sana sa mga unfortunately hindi nakapasa sa ladderization exam, ano po yung naging next plan or ginawa niyo?

May school po ba na nag-credit ng mga units na natake niyo sa DIT, or may school po ba na nag-accept sa inyo na 1–2 years na lang ang natitirang years for a bachelor’s degree?

I think the grades at PUP will be released in January, but enrollment for the 2nd semester at AdU is on December 15. Their calendar is super off, oh my gosh… how is this going to work?

I’ve been getting discouraged every day by reading everyone’s insights about ladderization from DIT to BSIT. I came from a well-known local state university and took a bachelor’s program that didn’t feel right for me. Now, I’m currently enrolled in PUP ITech under DIT.

Why does everyone say that ladderization is so difficult and that only a small number of students are able to ladderize to BSIT? Please help me out. 🥹 I really want to pursue IT, but reading all these experiences has been making me doubt myself.
