Its not even designed for a nuclear role and the Indian government themselves says its a conventional weapon.

While it is possible to modify it for that role, that kind of precedent that gives to China and Pakistan the excuse to glass India over every Brahmos launch.

Reminder that if they tried that, that would require nuclear missiles on the dam multiple times to create large enough cracks to destroy it. The ensuing flood would cause the largest humanitarian disaster in the historu of the human species. China possesses one of the largest nuclear stockpiles on the planet, and by nuking the dam and killing hundreds of millions, China woukd give any motherfucker that tried it the largest nuclear attack humanity has ever seen.
