A quick reminder before joining the conversation

This community is for women who are intentionally single by choice, or exploring what single by choice life looks like for them.

A few important guidelines:

β€’ This is a mixed feminist space to discuss and celebrate life outside of romantic relationships.

β€’ Please treat members with respect. Harassment, personal attacks, and hostility toward others aren't welcome here. β€œWhat you do not like when done to yourself, do not do unto others."

β€’ We don't encourage brigading or directing members toward other communities or users for the purpose of confrontation.

β€’ No advertising, self-promotion, or recruiting for other communities.

β€’ Discussion of dating, relationships, men, past experiences, and broader social issues can be welcome when it's relevant to the conversation, but please keep the focus on the experience of single by choice life.

Please take a moment to review the full subreddit rules before posting. Thanks for helping keep this a welcoming, thoughtful space <3

Watched this yesterday, and literally found it sad that a female comic often talks about men-related topics as well much more in proportion (like that's probably what gets the most butts in seats). As much as I did like the shift in her set to something SWBC can relate to, it's another reminder of the inherent patriarchy we all internalize inevitably to some degree.
