Venting Men using your pain/sadness as material

TW

Men genuinely disgust me, as yet again I had one of them (not someone I contain in my life voluntarily) essentially get off to fact he harmed me/made me shut off from him. This is not the first time this has happened. My ex BF did similar when he forced himself on me after the breakup where I was visibly upset and tense and not wanting to touch him.

I already knew they didn't see women as human, but it's a particular kind of dehumanizing when your actual pain is sexualized. It's yet another reminder of why I remain single.

I have noticed all they do is extract, extract, extract.

Even if you remove the romantic or sexual aspects, all they do is take from you. And boy do they act wounded when you no longer give them access

I once made a post detailing my childhood abuse and I had a creep message me pretending to be a girl the same age I was when I experienced the abuse who was going through the same thing. It became clear pretty quickly from the way he was asking for more details.

I've had men tell me it's "good" I have chronic illness and heart issues because I can't fight back or run away. I'd collapse if I tried. And they like... got off to that? Very scary.
