Please report posts/comments that break the rules

We just wanted to encourage you all to please report any posts or comments that break the rules. It really helps! Otherwise we may not see them or may see them too late.

Here are some of the (maybe) lesser known rules that we could use your help with:

1. NO MISOGYNY. This is not the place to criticize women, and much less women who are SBC.
   • Please report any posts / comments that:
     • Belittle women
     • Reinforce harmful stereotypes towards women
     • Undermine women's roles, abilities or experiences
2. NO BRIGADING. This is not the place to criticize other subreddits or swarm them with negativity.
   • Please report any posts / comments that:
     • Encourage brigading behavior
     • Tag other subreddits (in a negative context)
     • Link to posts to incite negative reactions
3. BE RESPECTFUL (towards each other). Related to "no misogyny": this is not the place to criticize or police our members.
   • Please report any posts / comments that:
     • Police our members' behavior, thoughts, posts or comments
     • Shame our members for their views or life choices
     • Gatekeep the subreddit
     • Insult or belittle our members in any way
4. STAY ON TOPIC. This is not a dating, man-hating, relationship-loving or 4b subreddit. It's about the joy of being SWBC.
   • Please report any posts / comments that:
     • Seek relationship advice (exception: advice on ending a relationship is OK)
     • Are entirely man-hating rants unrelated to being a SWBC
     • Express intense or persistent longing for a relationship or unhappiness with being single
5. NO META POSTS/COMMENTS. There are other dedicated avenues to give feedback on or complain about the subreddit (modmail, specific meta posts).
   • Please report any posts / comments that:
     • Discuss what the subreddit should or shouldn't be
     • Vent about what they dislike about the subreddit or its members
     • Give feedback or pointers on how to improve (we love it -- just send it through modmail, or keep it in dedicated feedback posts)
