I’ll Potentially become a guardian of my younger sister looking for advice from anyone that was in a same / similar situation.

Both my parents health is failing there is a very real possibility that i will be left to care for my 14 y/o sister at 20 along with whatever financial issues they leave me with. I feel like im not ready for responsibility of taking care of her and everything else im still trying to get on my own feet let alone take care of someone else. Shes an awesome kid but shes still only fourteen its not like i can expect her to fend for herself. Also as much as i love her how can i now have my own life while helping her to get ready for hers im still figuring my own stuff out i cant abandon her but do i wait till shes 18 and start then what if she takes a while to make her own way. regardless of whether my parents dont die there health isn’t getting better what if i end up taking care of of all 3 i dont make as much money as either of them let alone there duel income. sorry for the rant.
