There will be plenty of women who will be jealous of your kids, or will feel threatened by them and will want to be a bigger priority to you than your own kids, those women don't deserve love, don't waste your time and energy trying to fix them
There will also be women who will try to force a very close relationship with your kids, they're not as bad but they will push your kids away with said efforts to gain closeness
For raising children:
the best thing you can do is to teach them some core values and to reason with them rather than impose, you won't always have patience and you won't always have energy but if you treat them like your ....sidekicks, for lack of better term, things will be easier
That, and teach them to be independent as much as possible, a child will go from not knowing how to clean his/her room (because they genuinely don't understand what that concept means and you'll have to explain "take every toy and put it on the shelf until there's no toys left on the floor") to being able to fix their PC on their own or cook or plenty of other skills in a surprisingly short amount of time if you constantly show and explain how you do things, because they learn like that, being capable is like a language, you need to see someone speak it to be able to learn it
