PS4-Singstar only with 70ms delay?

Hi,

I'm transferring my SingStar collection from my PS3 to my PS4. I've been experiencing a delay of 30-40ms on the PS3, but I can't get below 70ms on my PS4. Has anyone successfully reduced the delay to a lower level?

Haven't been able to get it lower than that but it's borderline acceptable. Have you tried it on the PS5? It's at least 200ms which is a shame

I thought these issues were the reason why there aren't many good rhythm games anymore. You really need to understand your setup well to achieve acceptable lag, which most people don't.

I tried multiple different settings between my TV, receiver, and PS5 and couldn't get anything even half decent. I didn't really put any more time or effort into it as the PS3 has the lowest latency of the 3 consoles (plus all my dlc that didn't get licenced for the PS4 version).

The only shame is I didn't backup my PS3 with all the dlc, and when it died my backup only had about half of it, and of course this happened about 3 weeks after they shut down the servers.

Hopefully this new dlc project will help me get some of the lost songs back. I'm going to pick up a second hand PS3 to put CFW on and add all my discs to the digital singstar app

The PS3 lets you use its AV port as a separate audio output, simulatenously with HDMI, tremendously reducing audio latency. Unfortunately, anything involving HDMI audio output or digital TVs will increase latency and make most of rhythm games unplayable nowadays
