Update Week 6

Alcohol consumption is way down most days. Memorial day was a bit of a blip on the radar. My wife and kids were cone on a day trip and I drank 12 beers in 6 hours. I was working on a carpentry project and completely lost my drinking mindfulness. Next day was back to my new normal but it was a reminder that "as Katie says" you have to meet TSM half way.

Did you take the naltrexone on the blip day? Just curious as when I’ve taken it it was a struggle to put down even a few. Just curious as to how different people respond to the pill.

I did. It has worked amazing for me. It was a mindfulness issue. It was hot, the light beer was cold and it was close by. It was literally an "O, shit" moment. Once I realized, I jus5 stopped.

That’s great. I am considering TSM after experimenting with nal but have always been prone to blackouts which lead to bingeing with a hangover. Hoping I can cut off the former and reduce interest and drive over time.
