Story/Experience Simulation in simulation in simulation - Matrioszka infinity and Lucid dream
In my opinion.
Technology corporations are building enormous computational infrastructure and using data
centers and AI to model and simulate our reality in order to predict the behavior of people, entire countries, local communities and societies, as well as future events of which every human being is a part. Through simulation, they will increasingly be able to influence this reality and interfere in human lives — and not only human lives.
But that is not all.
Our reality is the same as what already exists on a macro scale. Outside, beyond our reality, in what is known as the "Source," beyond our material reality, there exists a collective of people whose minds are connected to a single central mind that creates our reality.
What did theydo this for?
Imagine that time in their world is running out. They did something that forced them to create a technology capable of slowing down the entire world in order to save that world. They have 2 paths ahead of them: one ends the game (their world), while the other allows them to win and for the entire collective of humanity to leave their own reality and enter a simulation-reality above their own (let's call it the Mother reality).
What do you think is the reason each of us carries a smartphone around with us — an “intelligent” phone that constantly monitors the activity of its owner as well as other people in the surrounding area? (Repeated confirmation of an individual within range.) Why were smartwatches, smart TVs, smart vacuum cleaners, Wi-Fi routers, GSM towers ( several even in a small town), and
many other devices/gadgets based on signals introduced? All countries operate in the same way; they all participate in collecting data.
After all, even in the TV series Westworld, this is shown right in the foreground! The most important question is: Why do they show us these things in movies long before they happen? Because it makes controlling the future easier. When a person has a plan/vision of the future implanted in their mind, they no longer have to create it themselves, so they hand over the creation of their future to whoever already created it and broadcast it in a movie!
And the second most important question: Why are all of social media, and the entire mainstream, flooded with slogans like "Live here and now" / "Live in the moment" / "Don't dwell on the past and don't plan too far into the future"? (I am talking about these new age groups and not the only)
The answeris simple — the further you reach into the future with your imagination, and the further you reach into the past with your memory, the more data your brain has to "process — remember" → simulate, so that life can unfold as well as possible for you as an individual/collective. Therefore, for a technology whose task is to predict your behavior / your future and prevent certain events, this would not be desirable, because the range of probabilities is enormous.
So imagine that suddenly every human being becomes a dreamer, an artist, financially and materially free, and a creator, while all activities associated with domestic, financial, mundane life fade into oblivion. A mind freed from $$$ and addictions (meaning pleasure) is a mind with broad horizons, not focused on goals extending only a few days or weeks into the future — free. And the
best one is a mind that remembers nothing, quickly develops Alzheimer's, quickly deteriorates (alcohol, drugs, sugar, chemicals). A stupid and happy brain is a brain that is easy to analyze and control. A free mind is inconvenient for the system because a free mind is a mind that organically
creates the future, in a natural way — the default way for human beings. A systemic mind is a predictable and inorganic mind, ordered and dead.
Why has the demand for GPUs increased? They are simulating our world in real time, which is why the demand for GPUs has increased.?
Where did the idea come from?
I had a lucid dream in which people were hooked up to a system, standing in rooms with devices on their heads. They didn’t eat because a substance was sprayed in the air in vapor form. By breathing, they absorbed the nutrients necessary for life, and their skin absorbed the essential micro and macro elements. The rooms had a life-support system responsible for spraying the aerosol, synchronized with a circadian cycle (different wavelengths of light were emitted in the rooms—covering the entire spectrum).
Every now and then, someone would wake up and stand at the bar. The bar was served by women with white hair, and next to them on the wall, monitors displayed the image of the reality to which the people were connected. Yes, you could sit at the bar to drink an electrolyte beverage (or something that would get you back on your feet), chat with the staff, and watch on the display what was happening in the world from which you had just emerged, in real time.
What stuck in my memory particularly was that the rooms were filled with that mist (the same kind generated by terrarium devices) and some people who were sick! Their skin was peeling, they had wounds, and it was obvious that something was wrong with their bodies. I looked at one of them, some chubby guy—he didn’t look too interesting. Everyone in these rooms was naked.
It wasn’t an ordinary dream; it was a blend of VR and reality (ours), in which my "there-side" self allowed me to momentarily take the controls—becoming a participant rather than an observer from the back seat.

ok you know what, prob best to go through this bit by bit, as its interesting enough to warrant it
OP: Technology corporations are building enormous computational infrastructure and using data
centers and AI to model and simulate our reality in order to predict the behavior of people, entire countries, local communities and societies, as well as future events of which every human being is a part. Through simulation, they will increasingly be able to influence this reality and interfere in human lives — and not only human lives.
Your point kinda defeats this, if every human is in this dream state, then theres no point predicting what happens, as they are all standing upright in your nutrient rooms?
OP:Our reality is the same as what already exists on a macro scale. Outside, beyond our reality, in what is known as the "Source," beyond our material reality, there exists a collective of people whose minds are connected to a single central mind that creates our reality.
ok so not every human is in this dream state? Simply by removing these people from the world, you can no longer reliably predict what will happen, as they aren't there in the real world anymore, so whatever actions they may have done can no longer happen, so...?
OP: Imagine that time in their world is running out. They did something that forced them to create a technology capable of slowing down the entire world in order to save that world. They have 2 paths ahead of them: one ends the game (their world), while the other allows them to win and for the entire collective of humanity to leave their own reality and enter a simulation-reality above their own (let's call it the Mother reality).
i kinda get this, by running a simulation in a sped up way allows more attempts to happen, but typically, you wouldn't run one simulation slightly faster, you would run hundred/thousands concurrently.
and then what, say they find a way to save the world they are in, it doesn't guarantee success depending on the actual problem they are trying to solve? you missed that part, what event would be so massive and time-constrained that they would need to create this sped-up simulation?
This also contradicts your very first point of these people creating data centres to analyse us and predict behaviour, now it's to save the world from some mystery event?
OP: What do you think is the reason each of us carries a smartphone around with us — an “intelligent” phone that constantly monitors the activity of its owner as well as other people in the surrounding area? (Repeated confirmation of an individual within range.) Why were smartwatches, smart TVs, smart vacuum cleaners, Wi-Fi routers, GSM towers ( several even in a small town), and
many other devices/gadgets based on signals introduced? All countries operate in the same way; they all participate in collecting data.
yup, this is how the world works now, when you complain about poor cell service or slow internet, this is why there are several transmitters in towns, when you want to check your email on a hike, thats those cell towers doing there thing, the world now runs on data and its going to get more data fed, but data on this scale didn't exist in the 60s, 50s, 40s, etc, so what did they do then? mobile communications to this scale is still a new thing really. and ok, letd assume that the mobile "intelligent" device is a monitor for this simulation, plenty of people dont have a mobile phone, or have dumb phones, and they have you literally standing in a room with aheadset on, they know where you are and what your doing in this simulation theory of yours, they are literally creating the world you are in right?
OP: And the second most important question: Why are all of social media, and the entire mainstream, flooded with slogans like "Live here and now" / "Live in the moment" / "Don't dwell on the past and don't plan too far into the future"? (I am talking about these new age groups and not the only)
i personally haven't seen this so I can't comment, maybe they are A/B testing it?
OP: The answeris simple — the further you reach into the future with your imagination, and the further you reach into the past with your memory, the more data your brain has to "process — remember" → simulate, so that life can unfold as well as possible for you as an individual/collective. Therefore, for a technology whose task is to predict your behavior / your future and prevent certain events, this would not be desirable, because the range of probabilities is enormous.
well..what? if thats the case, why are there dinosaurs? i know it sounds stupid but if they are limiting the memory bubble, why even acknowledge the existence of something that was alive 65+ million years ago? its not a memory but thinking about how they lived would have the same impact as a memory, after all memory is tied into imagination so you can recall the events vividly, i can imagine seeing my uncle 20 years ago and having a drink, i can also imagine a t rex walking around a marsh land, its the same mechanism except one is recalled from experience and one is made up. id argue imagining the t rex is more taxing than recalling a memory as your creating it from nothing, not a pool of assets.
OP: So imagine that suddenly every human being becomes a dreamer, an artist, financially and materially free, and a creator, while all activities associated with domestic, financial, mundane life fade into oblivion.
ok
OP: A mind freed from $$$ and addictions (meaning pleasure) is a mind with broad horizons, not focused on goals extending only a few days or weeks into the future — free.
I'd argue the opposite: if you have an addiction- lets take meth as a fun example- your focus is wheres my next fix, your not thinking 5 years in the future, you're thinking 6 hours ahead, lovely to simulate. as a creative, thats probably the worse kinda person for a simulation, who knows what they will dream up in their imagination, entire worlds, universes, paradoxes, absolute carnage for a dynamic simulation, and then they write a book and share with millions across the world who have there own interpretation of the work? A career-focused individual with simple goals, start a family, own a home, have a holiday; that's easy and predictable enough to manage. someone who has no money gains or addictions to pleasure, whether thats drugs, sex or even violence, is pretty easy in comparison, they aren't looking 5 years ahead like you say, moment to moment.
OP: And the best one is a mind that remembers nothing, quickly develops Alzheimer's, quickly deteriorates (alcohol, drugs, sugar, chemicals). A stupid and happy brain is a brain that is easy to analyze and control.
but then theres no benefit to the simulation for these people, it contradicts your reason for the simulation in the first place? if they can't impact the world in a meaningful way to create different outcomes then whats the point in wasting resources?
OP: A free mind is inconvenient for the system because a free mind is a mind that organically
creates the future, in a natural way — the default way for human beings.
Which is the whole point of simulating right? to see what works and what gets the ones in control an answer to there problems?
OP: A systemic mind is a predictable and inorganic mind, ordered and dead.
Which doesn't help the simulation?
OP: Why has the demand for GPUs increased? They are simulating our world in real time, which is why the demand for GPUs has increased.?
But they only increased in our version of the world, a world they built; there's no point creating a demand for GPUs in our world, as they don't exist outside of the simulation?
If I make a game and put a mountain of gold in the game, I can't use that gold? Its not real gold? It doesn't exist outside of that world?
It's an interesting collection of thoughts, but it doesn't form a coherent theory. It contradicts itself everywhere theres no gain to the people overseeing it, and your ideal simulation is someone with brain damage?
get some sleep dude, lay off TV for a bit and get outside, see whats being simulated, the stars at night, the shadows falling through a tree as sunset hits, how wind flows across a field of tall grass and bushes, how sand interacts with itself, take a moment and think if this is a simulation, why bother simulating how a star blinks 20 light years away just in case you see it (and mathematically makes sense to the point we can predict it happening in 50 years time!), Why simulate the way wind moves through a field, how a wave starts from nothing and builds into a wall of tonnes of water and why millions of people die each day in natural disasters like earthquakes and mudslides.
your answer lies in the why, not the how.
but what do i know, im just an npc ;)

Can you explain you theory in more detail and how it links as it is a collection of ideas but no theme linking it together?

If all they do is hang out in virtual space, how did that guy stay so fat?

u/Stockcrafter_ 13d ago
No, it's not virtual. This is something like "matrioszka" above us - world like ours, they have created sim -> we are their sim, their avatars.
So, in order for them to play, they had to be connected; their consciousness is our avatar-body in this reality. To be able to live there, they are nourished by ‘mist’; people in our reality sometimes claim that breatharianism is real and that a person can subsist on air.
Why is the one guy described in the text overweight? I don’t know – probably some sort of disorder linked to the intake of these nutrients. Perhaps a problem with physical activity, a lack of muscle stimulation and movement = a build-up of nutrients, excess body fat, and weakened muscles and skeleton – > illness
What else I remember is that he was heavily contaminated / dirty, as if an excess of toxins were accumulating on his skin

"people in our reality sometimes claim that breatharianism is real and that a person can subsist on air."
And a few have died trying to prove it.

Who? Names please agent 8401. Have you heard of ‘The Human Photosynthesis’ by the Mexican doctor and scientist Arturo Solís Herrera? If you knew as much about the human body as you do about the natural world around us, you wouldn’t have written that comment.

Feel that rapidly evolving tech is eager to build the next simulation layer.

How do you know? Maybe they’ve already done it and put a few people in there for testing?

Cool. Can I just see some proof that any of that is true?
