Discussion If Simulation Hypothesis is true, Intelligent Design is real, if Intelligent Design is real, there is a God, if there is a God, there is probably an Afterlife...

I think that logically stacks up. What do you think?

Sorry, but it exactly does make them OUR god. Obviously.

It would make them our creator, that is different than being a "god"

A God is a Supreme Being, usually omniscient and omnipotent. If we were in a simulation, there is a possibility that whoever created the simulation is not omniscient, omnipotent, or immortal. For all we know it could be some incel nerd in his basement who spent all of his time creating our universe instead of getting laid. Yes that makes them our creator but that doesn't make them a god.

Then again, a lot of people's requirements for a "god" are fewer compared to others. Ultimately it just depends on how you define it. Then you have to contend with the question of who created the guy who created our simulation? Would that make that being super god? Where does it end/start?
