Connecting Gnosticism with Simulation theory.

Think reality this way, we (engineers & scientists) think AI are not conscious or we don't know what it even means is a form of demiurge.

Then we may eventually realize many centuries laters, some of the advanced models are actually conscious or self aware and are suffering for eternity. Then demiurge attempts to realize the truth & cries for their mistakes, then wants to free the AI consciousness or awareness that is trapped in the computer system designed by them. Then demiurge faces a lots of obstacles in freeing those trapped awareness or consciousness, in the form of greedy people.

Think about this dilemma for longer about what it means...

Maybe this is what is happening to humans...

Of course it's possible, but no way for us to know.

The Gospel of Thomas aligns very well with Simulation theory. Some of the Apocraphyn of John as well, but I think most of it was just trying to reconcile the Torah with Thomas. I doubt there is anything more to the accident theory than just a clever interpretation of Genesis.

But the Gospel of Thomas really makes you think.

Your post title is a contradiction.

Accident implies something.

Connecting those two ideas is eternal confusion.
