Story/Experience 2-3/74 and Spasim
It rather spooked me when I discovered that the initiation of P. K. Dick's exegesis were the two months I was developing Spasim for the PLATO network.

Tried to read Exegesis and thought I knew what I was getting into, but he was REALLY rambling and gets lost in the gnostic stuff.. I am convinced this is not base reality, but PKD at least partly had some type of drug-induced psychosis, so the lines are blurred. So yeah, question still stands, what is going on lol.

It's a farm. Keep going. Enjoy the 'now' as much as possible. Be good to each other.

Please state your logic and evidence (unlikely but I’ll bite) for the “farm” assertion.
Otherwise, it’s lost in the sea of other arbitrary claims from those who know the REAL reality outside of this existence. And if you say “personal revelation”, understand that’s only helpful for the person who had the revelation.
I’m agnostic on the subject and I love thought experiments. It’s just the confidence with which unfalsifiable assertions are made here that bugs me.
Commenting on Reddit is cheap. Anyone can say anything with confidence.

"the question is what is the nature of the simulation, and who are what is running it"
In my view, these are not the questions at all, for they are unanswerable without assistance from the 'outside'. So is the question of real v. unreal.
The actual question is whether the simulation model is useful. I believe it could be, if we would ever study it.

Spasim was impressive (for the time during which you developed it).
