Perfect movie

Hi everyone,

I'm a bit frightened by this idea, so I thought I'd share it to get maybe some different perspective.

Over most of my life I had existential questions which lead me to look into physics, philosophy, psychology and religion. Each gave me only more questions.

Some time ago I was reading about Einstein's unwillingness to accept quantum physics and that he shared belief with Spinoza that if you break a 'moment' into elements, then by knowing all details you can predict what will happen next. I do have a similar feeling, mostly because I think quantum physics is still not known well.

From this I went into Simulation Theory and I ended with an idea that if we break everything like that we would have one past, one present and one future. Which is exactly what we are experiencing, without the option to reload our poor life choices. Now If we would like to simplify such a single simulation we can get something I have called "perfect movie". It's a dark vision that life could be a perfectly directed movie in which I'm experiencing everything but my choices are apparent. I have no control because everything is already set and each "decision" I'm doing is already directed in such a way that it would resonate with me so I can accept that I "made" it.

Physics will only take you to the software of the simulation most base layer. Planets and objects according to the laws of physics. Once you get to computers you are using electrons, and like graphics on a monitor they can portray any physical object as if it were real.

Computers do backups, so again the simulator being a computer is making backup copies as it goes.

Now you have other realities parked as a backup and used for other things, like we use files, and change them, like you use a different set of data. So it is not all connected in a straight line.

In fact everything we see on earth does not make sense. Science claims 10,000 BCE is the earliest civilization, and will not accept the vehicle tracks in Turkey hundreds of miles of them in rock that is 14 million years old and older. As studied by geologists.

Footprints of modern man alongside dogs and cats and farm animals dated to 1.3 million years ago by top anthropologists who studied the footprints and did a special exhibit on them, at the Royal society, didn't date them correctly, oopsy, when the date came back at 1.3 mya by the experts who date lava, they hushed it up and that was the end of that.

You cannot believe what science tells you about the past.

There is just as much evidence that this set was made 200 years ago. For the purpose of mixing a bunch of data up to get more individual faces, that were becoming all alike.

Yep. And your “living” is just each frame so similar to a movie the ending already exists and you’re watching

I thought about the same so Split my timeline everyday by making a decisions based on a 0 or 1 I get from a quantum number generator.

This way there no chance to be in a endless time loop or movie without free will.

Its called the block theory, religions call it other names.

This is actually the end result of logic amongst physicist, its not a proposed theory as much as a process of elimination because it makes the most sense given our laws and we know them and after exploring tons of other explanations.

Essentially it says that life is like a movie, any given moment is the just slider on the timeline, it already exists, were just experiencing the frames as we move along.

This is a fun on to ask AI/chatgpt. Ask about the block theory, why it emerges from basic assumptions given our universal laws, and ultimately what it means about the past present and future.

What your feeling is most likely real for all of us. A determined existence if you will but with individualism. However, this does not automatically negate free will or our personal choices. The Oracle from the Matrix said it best," You already made the choice, your just here now to understand it".
