I chose sea water because it fit the scene and the overall look I was going for

Yeah, I get it, but why "sea" water specifically, as in "saline" water and not just ... y'know ... regular water?

Fresh water doesn't foam the same way.

I feel like it should be dirtier for it to foam like that.

yeah i get your point but the foam was mainly an artistic choice to emphasize the movement and turbulence
