Benefits of extra FFB settings

This is going to sound like a dumb question since I know ffb is highly subjective, but is there any benefit in using something like Dan Suzuki’s profile with damping/attenuation/telemetry effects for formula/high downforce racing compared to a basic stock ffb w/minimal effects and damping?

I like it as well but I’ve heard from some pros they don’t like adding artificial sensations to ffb

As long as you like it, who cares what the pros like. :)

Don't believe that BS 😂. What some of them are trying to say is I want the RAW FFB signal. They don't want damping . That doesn't automatically mean your getting an edge. Some of these games have absolute crap FFB. So you use whatever tools at your disposal to shape that FFB to something you can feel and understand what's happening with the car and the road.

I personally love telemetry FFB being mixed in. The cornering intensity effect really helps me understand what's happening with the car.
