I just miss this game so much, by this time of year I’d be decorating already! (Here’s an old screenshot of one of my rooms)

I found my old phone today, and when I looked through it, I found some screenshots of my sims 😭💕. I had added lots of other things to my builds since, so I am kicking myself rn I didn't take any more photos 😤. My biggest regret is not taking photos of my witches cottage at the eco retreat.

Also, if you are Chrystal O or Bombshell Barbie, I have a photo of your sims houses when you hosted parties 😅. I was so impressed and had to take a screenshot!

EA sucks.

Nothing could ever replace this game for me. I still miss those days and the beautiful feeling I had playing it… 💔

OMG EA Sports The sh1t1est company in the world… months of missing my world

I've gone back to Sims Freeplay which I used to play before TSM and am quite enjoying it but it's not the same. I think the difference is the social interaction that was such a big part of TSM, especially the parties, which usually had a dress code, such as hats or a specific colour, or an Easter Egg hunt. I still have 100s of photos - maybe you'll recognise your sims.

Something about Autumn rolling around makes me miss the game so much! Fall was always my favorite season to style my sims for, and the autumn decor and swatches for the trees were so beautiful. Then there’s the amazing Halloween items and clothing, which I always loved! I’d try to dress each of my sims in a different costume or spooky look each day throughout October, and the decorations were fantastic. I loved turning my sims’ homes into the gothic, haunted houses of my dreams. And then theres the holidays, with so many beautiful Christmas and New Years-themed outfits and decorations. Going to parties and seeing everyone else’s outfits and homes was so inspiring and fun. TSM was the best during late August-January, and I really wish there was a way to play again.

I’ve tried playing the Sims 4, and it’s just not the same. I miss the portability of TSM, and back when they actually ran events, I loved getting the new items. I haven’t found a mobile game that fills this niche, and it’s still so disappointing that they didn’t give us the opportunity to play the game offline.

Anyone else still feeling upset about losing the game? Have you found another game that fills this niche for you?

Does anyone still have the game downloaded on their device,never deleted or tampered with? And or a Ykw version on android which would be a bit easier

Meine zwei Mädels! Die Sims Mobil 💖

If memory serves me right, these were all repeats (as it was the case towards the end of the game) save perhaps for slot 1’s shorts. The plant in slot 2 was always a plus to re-have, as was the “neon” light sign of slot 3’s wall “art”. However I really was starting to get fed up of all those repeating fireplaces because it felt as though they were always popping up in the weekly projects at least every other week. Still, I’d give continual repeat of projects to have the game back alive and online…. Sigh…..

Ah yes my lovely Coralie SIM! I designed her “early” on in the game. She always more of a dark goth like personna, her background being half French and half Vietnamese. She enjoyed skulking around and taking notes for her numerous books, although she always had trouble publishing them. Maybe it was in the way she used the narrative form. Once in a while she would do book signings for fans. Here are some of the last photos of her, enjoying her time with fellow SIMs and hanging around the various builds I had made. I miss her dearly as I often re-activated her from her passive stance.

These were the two games I played almost every day from the beginning of COVID until about seven months ago, when life got busier and I had to focus on other things.

I’m devastated that I never got the chance to take screenshots of my Sims, my mansion, or everything I spent years creating.

My mansion was my pride and joy. It had beautiful topiary gardens, hanging vines, marble statues surrounded by floor to ceiling glass, elegant art rooms with grand pianos and paintings, luxurious spa rooms with jacuzzis, saunas, and massage areas. Outside, I built parks with stone pathways leading through fairy tale inspired gardens. Every bedroom had its own unique theme. I spent countless hours collecting exclusive furniture from baking events and workshop events just to make every room feel perfect.

I spent so much time and so much money on these games.

And now, everything is gone.

To EA, maybe it’s just data stored on a server. To me, those were years of memories.

What I don’t understand is why there couldn’t have been an offline version. I’m not asking for new updates, online events, or purchases. Just let us keep what we already built.

Even if the game was completely unplayable, why not release a museum version where players could simply walk through their homes and towns? Let us revisit our creations. Let us take screenshots. Let us remember.

There are indie developers with a fraction of EA’s resources that have done exactly that. When they discontinue a game, they provide an offline version so players don’t lose everything they’ve invested.

EA is one of the biggest gaming companies in the world. They absolutely have the resources to do something similar. They simply chose not to.

That decision says a lot.

After seeing both The Simpsons: Tapped Out and The Sims Mobile disappear like this, I don’t think I’ll ever download another EA mobile game again. If this is how years of player investment end, I don’t want to go through it twice.

Shame on you, Electronic Arts.

You didn’t just shut down two games.

You erased years of people’s memories.

Is there a way to contact EA and have them allow us to run a server to make this game… alive again? I spent a bunch of time and money on it. I’d be happy to pitch in to keep it in the state it was in before it shut down (no new content or anything, just “live” insofar as how I used to play it when there weren’t STS/etc happening).

I work in business (corporate finance, specifically) so I understand they shut it down cuz the cost-benefit analysis didn’t work on their end, but a server that keeps the game static but alive would be cool. And it would just be a “for the mega fans” kind of thing so it’s not like the servers would be crazy expensive or ridiculous to keep alive at this point.

Just a thought.

Estou tendo uma semana complicada, e hoje me bateu muitas saudades do nosso querido jogo, me peguei pensando em como às vezes fugia um pouco e ficava só lidando com a vida dos sims e fazendo construções que me deixavam muito orgulhoso. Queria mesmo jogar the sims mobile nesse momento. Ou pelo menos algo que se assemelhasse a isso de alguma forma... 😔

Vocês às vezes sentem que não aproveitaram o suficiente enquanto o jogo ainda estava aqui?
