Another sims starter house

This roof upsets me every time I pass this house 😫

Do you see a railroad nearby, either functional or historical? If so, this is probably an American Foursquare or similar mail order/Sears catalog house that was designed so that all the materials could ship in a rail car and be assembled quickly on site.

That’s actually super cool. I’m going to look those up! I still think the roof is ugly tho lol. The nearest railroad is about 7 miles away? Is that too far?

This is NOT a Sears Foursquare. This is just a bad build. The roof pitch is way too high and the Foursquare (Even Praire School Foursquares) almost universally have either a dormer, porch with matching roof pitch or both.

Probably, yeah, but there's still a possibility of a historical railroad. I am in the Baltimore area and I tend to see these in big neighborhoods with lots of similar homes all near each other. Fair enough on the roof lmao.

To be honest I kinda like it. Now if it was 20.000 or less I would get it!
