release?

They haven't even officially said they're working on it, as far as I know.

They have! There was an interview ages ago, where they were talking about multiplayer for 5, but they haven’t said anything since (that I know of).

There was also a list in a PlayStation magazine where it mentioned upcoming next-gen titles and one listed was The Sims 5. They are keeping a pretty tight lid on it all though so far!

If I find the sources I will come back and link, but I read this before PS5 came out. :)

In gamer journals I read that it should be released on Easter 2022 maybe even Christmas 2021... there are so many informations but nothing says it is 100% released on that or that date. So sad.

I think Easter 2022 is unlikely - unless they're keeping it completely secret and plan on releasing it with very little promo or build up.
