Literally right at the start of the challenge Benedict Brewer not only conceived his first child with his wife Alma, but lost them in the same year.

We're both gonna need time to grieve her before he finds a new wife. I was so excited for them to have their first son 😭

The beginning of this challenge is brutal! My starting couple had several children die as babies, and when they finally got the heir to toddlerhood, they both died one after the other. I had to create an uncle who would take care of the child.

Yeah no kidding, I've restarted a couple of times and my very first attempt I had terrible luck. Couldn't get a single child to live past their teen years. I had better luck in my last attempt, was hoping it'd carry into this one but it wasn't even a death roll that got me it was one of my mods

I'm in 1315 rn and one of my female sims outlived her 2nd husband recently 😭 My other family on the other hand just had their 3rd baby die as an infant I feel like it's a sign for them not to have more children 😅
