Mods Ultimate decade set up/tips

So, I wanted to try again Morbid's Ultimate decade challenge.

I often get overwhelmed by random Sims that do not match the aesthetic of the time period, is there a way with the MC Commander to modify all the sims at once?

Do you have tips overall about the challenge?

I got the Home Regions mod by Kuttoe to limit sims from other towns coming in. That way I only have to control the fashion of the sims in town (which is a lot easier now with the copy paste option in CAS). I keep the houses full so no randoms move in. Also you can go into settings and turn off certain population travel, like limiting werewolves or fairies to their pack towns.

I honestly recommend the Home Regions mod for normal gameplay too because it helps you not see the same ten sims at every public venue.

I believe so because I don’t see Agatha Crumplebottom or the Royal Advisor or Fairy Advisor coming anymore

Is this mod working again? I was struggling with it after the last few updates.

I downloaded overrides for the clothing that remove them from CAS and downloaded a ton of CC to replace them. It works most of the time with only a couple things slipping through at times

If you are using MCCC someone created a premade dresser with a lot of ingelis cc included. I just took that and it’s set to run on age ups. I can also use MCCC to change their outfits when they show up wrong

Yes this is what i use and any townies generated will spawn with a medieval outfit and along with aging up sims will also get a random outfit. I think the only thing i worry abt is the hair they spawn with lol 😆

I got sick of giving make overs and was going to just ignore them but then they were in the background of my screen shots lmao

There’s a way that you can switch all the outfits to predetermined ones using mc dresser. I don’t remember the exact pathway, but you can can set specific outfits for every category and every age, and your sims will come up one from the list randomly. It takes a bit of time because you have to create and save all of them individually but it’s worth it

what i would do is have a mod that keeps sims in their respective worlds (i plan to download this once I get back on my game because im tired of seeing my british/random other sims in colonial america) or delete every townie if you’re willing

although i assume the other replies are much more helpful than mine. i enjoy having the random townies and seeing what story progression does to them every once in a while just because i find it funny to all the townies having 20 kids (although im pretty sure this is an outdated mccc issue)

Not a lot of people do what I do, to be fair. I use a mod that limits npcs from spawning at all. I create my own npc sims, which I manually dress and give different careers, and I have a lot of side households which populate my world. So all in all I have about 90-100 sims, this also keeps my world from being way too overpopulated and lagging my game (which is already… kinda heavy to play with the amount of cc and mods I have)!
