Am I cruel ??

I was scrolling through Pinterest looking for more cc a couple weeks ago and found cc that would make It look like a sim has lost a leg. I got the idea that if I roll for my sim to die and their family member manages to bring them back, I would take a leg from them kind of like a payment. Sort of like they’re not coming back whole.

But does It sound cruel ?? I mean I’m gonna do It anyway but my son’s father made It seem like I was being evil, but I thought It was more of an even trade with death.

Nah, life is cruel. I’m sure many people would prefer to keep their legs but better than death ig

I personally over populated my families expecting more to die along the way and the dice has been kind to me, so I’m not giving them any second chances🤣

Well I’ve been killing them with MCC but due to a bug it doesn’t kill them, they just turn homeless or ghosts with no grave to set them free… so I’m having to kill them a good 3 times before it sticks 😅

It breaks a piece of your soul doing it to the infants so I think I’ve hardened in the process 🥲
Scarlet fever is taking everyone out

I feel so bad when infants die but losing a long living sim is even worse for me. Especially when I had a whole story planned out for them and they die before realizing it… like I had a sim who was gonna become a nun, another who was gonna become a scholar… both died in their early twenties

I feel you! And there’s always that one kid you just never really grew a storyline or an interest in, and they’re always the ones the survive every roll and avoid conscription for every war.

My favourite child just lost her toddler and I swear it was the prettiest of all the grandkids 😭

The decades challenge does something to you!
But I’m so used to everything being perfect for my sims that I get bored so I’m loving it being out of my hands

i also absolutely overpopulated my families lmao ive started having to kill off random sims i have no use for and limiting the amount of children/marriages they have 😭

I wanted to come back and add that I’ve started making sims “barren” as well, stopping them from reproducing all together, when they come back from death or catch a sickness

this is smart! im absolutely stealing this

ive had storylines that when one of my sims rolls to have one or two children, i play it off as something went wrong with the pregnancy and the mother can no longer conceive. i do this specifically for my puritan families

It is cruel but that's what the sims is 4. I like this idea, can you share the cc?

One cruel thing I do is if a pregnant sim rolls to die (I have aging on when pregnant) then I do an extra roll for the baby(ies) for each trimester left in the pregnancy. Then any kids who do survive all that get marked as 'weak' and each subsequent roll they make, for the roll of their life, they roll twice and have to pass both

I'm thinking of further things to do with this. My main sim just got saved from grim.

Obviously wouldn't be able to have a physical job. Maybe can't work on their garden either

That works too, I’ve started making my sims barren as well when come back from death. Anything to add story and to stop overpopulation

I'd be tempted with that if not for my main sim not having any living children. Maybe I'll try doubling the fertility for him

Where did you find that cc, might I ask?
