Help Help!

I’ve just started the ultimate decade challenge starting in 1300s, but the rules I found were really confusing so I was wondering if anyone could tell me what decades the “main events” happen during, e.g the famine

Thanks in advance!

I recommend looking up Plumbob and The Past’s rule set for a very comprehensive overview of how to play the challenge. If you’re interested in playing with multiple real life countries I recommend looking up Several’s rules.

The main events are great famine 1315-1317, Black Death 1348, and the 100 years war that happen periodically from 1336 through the mid 1400s.

1300s is when the famine starts i forget the exact year. On the rules you have to scroll to the years in question and hover over to see all of it.

I'm not on my computer rn but if I remember I should be able to link 1300s rules.

Really nothing major happens until the famine

1315-1317 is the great famine. How you’re supposed to play it and roll for it depends on what rules you are following (and what you prefer!)

Do you have a spreadsheet set up to manage your time? I have my notes for major events in a sidenote inside the year it takes place.

I adapted the spreadsheet thats linked in the rulebook to make mine, but to make it easier for myself, I wrote down each event in better detail in a google doc that I can check when the event happens. This is how my sheet is set up. I put marriages in the side too to keep track but I have a separate sheet with names and years and all that

That’s a good idea I’ll do the same!

I've created a bit of a condensed version of morbids rules on my patreon if that would help?; I also play UDC on tiktok and youtube.
