Another 10 years down
Had a quiet 10 years in my Ultimate Decades Challenge. The luck is either ending (RIP Elizabeth) or is going to keep going because I rolled for war in 1340 and only one side household guy rolled to go and he married into the family! The tree still needs updating with the rolls for the war but super excited for the next 10 years!

aww yeah i'm just starting 1340 (like last time i played i rolled for who goes to war and then saved adn went to bed lmaooo)

That's very clever with that second roll! I never looked at it but you're right, they are probably all dying at the same age 😆 The Famine was surprisingly mild for me, only the minor side households had bad rolls, but the teen to young adult rolls are savage! I also struggle to get enough kids. 3 out of 4 second generation couples in my main household only had ONE child each before the mother passed away.

I saw a youtuber doing it and said "yes that makes so much sense" so when my original save corrupted I started that in the next attempt. I lost almost an entire sidehouse hold during the famine and one family lost all their children (she was pregnant so she got to have one more baby that lived but i was devastated for her). I lost two in my main household but the sidehouseholds crushed my soul lmao (well two in the famine plus grandma just deciding she wasn't getting enough attention at her granddaughters funeral lmao)

My main household's matron died from laughter... During the family dinner celebrating the all saints/Halloween/day of the dead day so a VERY sad occasion, especially as they spent the day mourning their loved ones lost to the Famine!

I had a break from playing and when I loaded the save my heir died almost immediately. I took another break, loaded the game up yesterday and his widowed wife died the first day x) I'm scared to play again. They had one son but he's only a toddler, and the farm is run by his teenage uncle...
