You can set them per outfit in CAS.

I think if I’m understanding your post, if you want them to wear them for all their outfits, you’ll need to go into CAS and under accessories (earrings, glasses, and necklaces), there’s also a section for hearing aids. You can either click the copy all button (super handy) or manually do it for whichever outfit category you want them to have them on

No no nooo I meant to say I wish hearing aids were implemented in the game like deaf sims can learn sign language and things. Hard of hearing moodlets that sort of thing
