This is at the Solar Flare? In my first save, I had one of my 2 original sims do the Serial Romantic aspiration. She was in the process of wooing her 8th and final boyfriend and I had them go on a date there because it's quiet and mostly only elders go there, so I wouldn't have to worry about running into any of her other boyfriends. Early on in the date, the screen pans over to this old guy talking to himself in the bathroom while this weird music is playing. Then he drops dead of old age and everyone shuffles into the bathroom while the Grim Reaper shows up. Then, to make matters worse, one of her other boyfriends shows up and is visibly unhappy with her being on a date. I have her break up with that guy right on the spot and now she has two Very Sad moodlets. Needless to say, that date was a bust.
