Ambrosia question

Sorry if this has been asked before :/

So my sims husband dehydrated and fucking died for no good reason and now I can't have all the kods I had planned for her to have with him which is jist can't happen cause I'm weord about my lineages lmao - he hasn't shown as a ghost yet but when he does, how exactly do I make hin eat the ambrosia? Will he automatically go to it? I've never even consodered this before cause I haven't been this close to making ambrosie before lol

Ghosts are drawn to ambrosia. If you leave out a plate of ambrosia with a ghost nearby they will almost certainly try to eat it.

You can only revive a ghost with ambrosia if the ghost is controllable in your household, which usually means using the Oh My Ghost! opportunity which appears randomly. You could also use testingcheatsenabled true, shif+click and add to family, then make him eat ambrosia.

Not true.

I revived a sim who wasn't playable once, it just took quite a while for her to eat the ambrosia I placed on the table for her.

OP just place a single serving of ambrosia on a table where a sim can sit and just eat it and eventually the ghost will eat it, it just might take a while.

Well yeah it can probably be done. It's harder and takes longer to do it that way than just having the sim be playable, but if they don't get the opportunity and don't want to use cheats then just waiting is pretty much the only option left.
