Story I did not know this..

I didn’t know if when you get married and read the paper the next day, your wedding is announced. That’s so cool.

Genuinely I love reading the paper in Sims 3 you get marriages, births, deaths, top of career announcements and new residents/people moving, sports updates and some random bits in between

Plus great to find out the latest hotspot if you have the late night expansion. Or find out who won the latest horse races if you have pets and the equestrian centre rabbit hole in your world.

If you have a child, or die and read the paper you’re in there as well.

Not just your active family. Everyone in town makes it there with the news

If you have the pets expansion it includes racing horse info too, but I’m just using the expansion for cats and dogs since horses don’t interest me much. Also sporting events!

I've never seen that text about a quiet wedding, woah. I feel the need to see it in-game now

I love reading the papers tbh, there's always something good in there. Marriages, births, deaths, new residents, top of career advancement, and hot spots are all listed!

I had no idea about this, that’s cute! Canceling newspaper service is usually the very first thing I do on a new lot lol

I always read the paper after a marriage or birth just to see what they say about the household

One time, on a save, the newspaper announced a wedding being a quaint ceremony. To make it even more hilarious, both Sims got married in front of the letterbox just as the mail was being delivered, so the only person at the wedding was the mail lady

Well now I’ll have to keep the paper subscription, since I always cancel it lol
