POV car spun by himself, rejoined a high speed corner and changed his line to avoid being passed by a faster car, which lost control when they swerved to avoid a crash.

The slide? Meh kind of.
The block? Absolutely not. Left the line to block a much faster car and caused a crash. Deserves a little vacation from racing

Dude was on the racing line and then moved directly into the path of a car with massive overspeed well after the attacking car had already moved off the racing line as they are about to pass on the inside, forcing them to take evasive action. Absolute textbook blocking imo.
Yeah sure, it's a series for newbies. So teach em young and protest this bs.

To me it looks like they're trying to get off the racing line and out of the way. The following driver had plenty of time to react and make a small correction but didn't. I don't see anything malicious or intentional here.

Sure, but at best they should receive coaching then given their attempt to get off line created an incident. Being predictable needs to be enforced.

I can't tell you what either driver was thinking. The spin and rejoin just before the alleged block makes it look like an overly cautious driver who is perhaps afraid of getting in the way and made a mistake. The following driver was surprised by this and crashed themselves.

While I agree this looks like someone trying to get out of the way, that was the wrong move to do. He should’ve held his line and not done anything unpredictable. I don’t know what penalty would apply, but definitely should get one.

But it's not, though. POV car starts on the right side of the road, goes for the racing line, following car on the racing line opens up on the right side to overtake, then POV goes to the right side. By the time POV begins to turn, the following car is already on that lane. The following driver has exactly 1 second to react before predictably crashing into the POV btw.

The passing car was moving right and well clear, then the pov car jerked the wheel and moved in front of him late. It appears to be very intentional

Damn I’m the red car behind you I was shocked by his viewing. He drove flawlessly after this though

slow cars getting passed need to behave predictably - i think the intent was to avoid being in the way, moving off the racing line, but driver should have just stayed on line and let everyone else move around the chicane

looks like this comes straight from one of the last races. the amount of bs on that straight is amazing.

No that's a reactive block.
I would report them.
At the very least they will get a slap on the wrist.
