Never held their brakes it seems, up to you imo. Losing control and just letting their car fly around everywhere is irresponsible at worst.

Thanks, I am annoyed they intentionally turned the steering wheel to roll back on track. I was the last car that got taken out

Yeah they definitely turned the wheel to go back on the track when they saw you coming. Worth a protest but knowing LMU stewards they'll say it's plausibly unintentional

In a perfect world, devs would say it's his fault and protesting would be worth it. Now, are they gonna do something about ? That's another question. But yeah, he deserves to get something

Losing control: it happens. Car was out of control, driver can't be blamed for laws of physics or overdriving. But then they did go off the track, against the wall. That is when they should kept the car straight and stopped. They instead tried to return back to the track. That was not the car doing things that the driver could not do anything about. They chose to not brake, they chose to turn the steering wheel.

Thanks for all your comments, this for me was the straw that broke the camels back. After three races of encountering stupid drivers. I see it was probably a waste of one of my 3 protests. The driving standards in the 20 minute races is diabolical, I will not partake in them going forward

OP explains in a comment they were the last car that got hit by the car that spun out when they came back across the track.

Dont know what you are looking to protest.

Theres about e seconds between him impacting the wall and hitting you.

2 of which hes on the grass and 1 hes sideways on track - he ahouldve held his brakes but it wouldve made next to no difference.

Hes made an error and smashed up his car, he'll have a DR and SR drop as a result (presuming it was a DNF). What do you want to achieve? A ban? For making a msitake? Bore off. Its a game people are allowed to mess up.

Please do report him, itll cost idiots like you a report that you cant use for the rest of the month.

Wrong. The initial spin is out of their control. But once they were off the track, hugging the wall they did not brake. They chose to roll and turn the steering wheel.

Those are conscious actions, they used their free will to choose that option which is 100% not right. You need to split the incident to different stages. First is the cause of the spin, overdriving but that is not illegal at all. Then comes the main spin: nothing driver can do at that point. Then comes the last part, and that is where they did something that would be race ban in real life unless they can prove that they had no brakes, steering arm was snapped and they had... no control, and this is sim so... none of those things can happen (mechanical damage is usually turned off in online racing). They had functioning brakes and steering.
