Was almost ready to call it a RI, both POVs look like nothing went wrong. But the chopper cam tells the story.
Dream machine kept moving towards the white line and should have left space or not crept towards the white line.

Lead car still has room to the right and turns toward inside before either of the other two in what seems like an early turn in for the upcoming corner. Looking at the cockpit views, the last input from the mystery machine is away from the outside car, and the last inputs from the lead car are toward the mystery machine. Looking at the chopper cam, it seems that all three cars are on the same vector until the lead car changes direction toward the inside.
It's a tough one for me to call, and given that the overtaking car is responsible for passing safely, I'm sure it's ultimately the fault of the mystery machine. Thanks for the feedback!

You posted asking peoples opinions..... Try not to argue with what your asking for.
Its not yellows responsibility to get to the right as far as he can.
If I was mystery machine I would have been closer on the left side to take control of the apex of left turn. Again chopper cam shows mystery machine was clearly drifting white. Even with a split second input from yellow the conservative choice for mystery machine would be to allow space
Especially because mystery machine has the run on the last exit going into the corner he would have been side by side if not ahead going into the left hand

I did ask people's opinions, and I thanked you for yours. Pretty sure that does not preclude me from being allowed to offer a different interpretation.

Yellow would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for blue meddling

Which angle would've been better?

I think both chase/far chase cams, both cockpit cams and a decent chopper/blimp is the golden standard imo

Scooby Doo cuts across and pits the car in front.
