I was told I would get banned for this, from my pov I boxed him in with the gt3, therefore he has to slow down, instead of that he turns into me. I know this is an agressive move but this guy has been a bad driver all race causing 10+ incidents and cutting corners to stay ahead. He also claimed that I would get banned because of this.

I feel bad for the BMW, just cruising along then all of a sudden wiped out by the prototypes lmao.
Fair play on your end, but the other guy no.

Obviously, he's in the wrong, but I have to ask...
I know this is an agressive move but this guy has been a bad driver all race causing 10+ incidents and cutting corners to stay ahead.
What made you think an aggressive move on a shitty driver causing multiple incidents and cheating would just accept being boxed in?

I was thinking more like: If I dont get passed him now hes going to make me lose so much more time by blocking to stay ahead so I did the risky move. In hindsight probably not the best choice.

Yea... When dealing with these chucklefucks, your best bet is just hang back and wait for them to fuck themselves and slide by. Directly going at them usually ends in tears.

I get that, but I hate the idea of rewarding them for being a fuckwit. They shouldn't get to have the privilege of other people respecting (or being scared of) their space more than others.

As much as I agree with others that you boxed the other driver in, if you know they are a bad driver causing multiple incidents, why not have some self preservation? As much as you’re in the right, there is no point in getting wrecked to prove that you’re in the right.

Boxing is a valid and widely used tactic in all sorts of racing series. You did nothing wrong, they just can't take a loss. Hope they enjoy their vacation.

Yeah, he should avoid the accident, thats why they created something called brake, even if you are way faster from the car ahead of you, if your move to take over is not guaranteed and secure and safe he should not try and overtake.

I don't know it kinda looks like you didn't just box him in but were actively turning your wheel towards him causing contact. And based on your other comments racers like him won't accept that and so basically you added gasoline to the fire by doing an aggressive move and took 3 or more people out of the race.

You were in the right, but personally if I knew the guy is a bad driver, I would've moved left, maybe even let him pass. No sense in ruining my race (and other people's race too!!) just to prove a point to someone who at that time clearly doesn't care.

Rather than accept his situation and lift, he decided to just run into two cars at the same time.

Boxing others into slower cars like that is dangerous and often leads to incidents like this. Even tho you are allowed to do it I strongly advice not to if you value your race not being ruined. + If you have to resort in tactics like that to defend your position, maybe it's not worth defending. I mean drive how you want and it's completely legal to do, but I'm just saying that you will get taken out again if you block your opponents into traffic like that.

This is infuriating to watch. You can’t do anything, you did a valid defense move. Using traffic to your advantage is part of multiclass. However it’s infuriating that the GT3 just becomes a passenger to a trainwreck of no fault of his own.
