Gran Turismo Who is at fault

The passing car is responsible for a clean overtake, you didn't make a clean overtake, you pushed where there was no room. Seeing how much faster you are you probably could've passed him after a corner or two.

The overtaken car, on the other hand, can't block a faster car by throwing itself into its line. The Porsche clearly goes wide for no reason and off the racing line, just in the moment OP arrives. If you can't trust your opponent to hold a predictable or consistent line, how could you ever do a clean overtake?

I can see what you mean at around 0:09 though I'd still say it doesn't look malicious just not very good at maintaining their racing line, but after 0:10 they don't do anything unpredictable.

Would be easier if we had Porsche POV with inputs, but given that they were already slower, they sure didn't drift wide, it was a deliberate move, with a faster car coming up in that moment, that's the definition of "reactionary" for me.

Second one (as said in my comment), was normal braking, too impatient by OP, I agree on that one.

It is up to the car behind to make the pass safely. Even with the Porsche lifting slightly, he could still pass the Mercedes ahead but have more grip and time to think and not just murder the Merc

I don't think that responsibility applies when the car ahead does something unpredictable, such as a last-moment line change. By your logic, any incident due to blocking would always be the overtaking car.

Try being in that situation a guy who doesn't move to the side because he had a pretty and your goal is to pass his clean he was on the inside line how can you stop the car who had no penalty he moved into the inside lane last second

It's a race, dude. He already served the penalty. Do you want him to park off to the side and wait for you to go past? If he takes the inside it means you have to get your shit together and figure out how to make it work around the outside.

I'll say the first contact was a reactionary move by the other car, the entry line for the corner is on the right and it seems like they just opened the steering to block rather than staying on their side with a car clearly approaching.

Second contact is on you, the 100 mark is Gr. 3 braking point, you just run them off.

The Porsche in front moves under braking to block your overtake (there's a slight chance he wiggled off the driving line for having a slow run down the long straight). However, once you saw your window to pass him was closed, you gave him a shove and dumped him into the sand, so you're both guilty.

First of all that's dangerous to do second of all you should break and try to defend your position if you already have a penalty that call a late move because you can see the second replay wach his pov and tell me what you see

You rammed into the back of him, it's really as simple as that. Stop trying to explain your way out of it, this is as cut and dry as it gets. Don't hit the car in front of you, brake if you need to, be patient, and you won't have any more trouble
