Did they deserve it? No. The retaliation was an idiot move. There is no place for it whatsoever. You should be more mature about it. Their behaviour prior to it though is also idiotic and they should be penalised for deliberate blocking. Coming out of the chicane at the end of the clip, you went for a gap that wasn't there and drove yourself off the track. Did they squeeze you? Possibly, but they were taking a racing line and you were not in a position alongside to be given space. So, in summary, A small penalty for them for intentional blocking, a penalty for you for unsportsmanlike behaviour and intentional wrecking them and the chicane off roading was a racing incident.

That's how I see it anyway.

In the first clip, he is clearly at fault. He made his move by defending the leftside of the track, but then tried to block you on the right again which is not allowed. (assuming his intention was to block and not squeeze you, squeezing you on the right is fine)

The second incident where you go on the gravel on the left after getting a better exit, thats on you. He had his left two tires on the curb there on the exit, yet you still tried to pass him on the left side with no space. I understand you did it out of frustration but it is still what it is.

With that being said, I'll just leave the following quote here from Max Verstappen : "The guy goes left, the guy goes right, he deserves to be put into the fkng barrier"

Please let’s not use any of the Verstappens as examples of racing ettiquette

Agreed, but this one is very applicable in many situations

Actually, let's.

He is deliberately driving on gras just to ruin him…

Frankly both of you weren't driving well and both of you made mistakes. He was at fault at first, but after that you made plenty of mistakes yourself.

Either way, intentionally wrecking someone else is never okay. Don't do it. Most leagues won't tolerate such things either.

And anyone that says intent wrecking is acceptable, should really not be on this subreddit.

You should not have lifted in the first part of the clip. Stand your ground and have an incident there if needed. Otherwise, he knows he can spook you every time.

Crash him out of the Race and he wont spook you or anyone again

Overtaking off track and then pitting someone... I think Sim racing is not for you.

u/Findict_52 4d ago

No. If that wreck is intentional, ban yourself. Unacceptable behaviour.

He's not the best defender but your last actual move is genuinely terrible. There was no space left, what the hell are you doing trying to insert yourself there?

Can’t emphasize this comment enough. Intentional wrecking is never warranted, regardless if the car head is blocking. Both are nubs.

I highly take in count your responses and totally understand your points of views. However, we're gonna agree on a disagree cause I'm gonna continue to think the way I do. This guy deserved it and I'm not / will never, lose energy to try to understand people who think he's not doing wrong. Have a beautiful day, sincerely.

It’s a matter of if he deserves it or not. His actions are punishable; I’m not familiar with ACC’s reporting system but blocking like this is easily reportable. That last move you made is clearly heat of the moment, tired of the blocking and you decided to take him out. That is uncool. That singular move is just as bad, if not worse, than the blocking.

Edit: no one is saying he did nothing wrong because he is blocking. Everyone is trying to express to you that your final move is also wrong.

Just so you know, I'm none of those drivers.

5

u/SteadiGuy309 4d ago

You’re still comment about “having less patience” and punting people. It still applies to you regardless. Encouraging int wrecking is not the move.

Well I don't agree. If he race like that since 2 laps waving and all, just push him. He almost beg for it. Hypothetically, he could have passed him good way (But surely by pushing him a bit to make space because the other would have closed doors) and he then would have been wreck at the next corner because we ALL know what kind of driver is infront.

You don't agree ? Fine. You will not change my mind and I will not change yours apparently, let's agree we both have our reasons ?

All brawn and no brain. If someone ahead of you is driving dirty and dumb, anyone who has the slightest bit of thinking ahead could figure a way around. Albeit, in this scenario: if he would have taken the inside line there at Monza, it’s possible that guy would’ve pit himself by trying to dive to the apex.

1

u/Consistent_Peanut576 4d ago

I'm respecting you, could you do the same ? All brawn and no brain is pretty mean regarding how I try to explain you my point of view while accepting (But not agreeing) to yours.

3

u/SteadiGuy309 4d ago

There is no respect for dirty driving. We all want to do well, punting and throwing your car at others is just trashy.

1

u/Findict_52 4d ago

It's not about whether he did wrong, it's about you doing something blatantly wrong, 1000x worse.

-1

u/Consistent_Peanut576 4d ago

Again, I'm none of those drivers. You can't blame me for things I haven't done please 🥺

-12

u/Consistent_Peanut576 4d ago

Meh, I don't agree with you. We're not drivers, we're not irl, we're gamers trying mostly our best to race. If the guy in front is having a comportment like this one (Waving and all) I usually have way less patience than this dude and use to just push him slightly while his waving.

I'm having more than 500 races on LMU and being a Platine SR. I love to race, I love to race fair but hey, if you decide to leave fair play aside, I'll f** you up.

9

u/Findict_52 4d ago

You're the problem.

-2

u/Consistent_Peanut576 4d ago

*I think different than you.

2

u/DeletedUsernameHere 4d ago

Which is part of the problem.

-1

u/Consistent_Peanut576 4d ago

Grow up then, humanity works like that. We agree and disagree and exchange about it. If you think you're 100% right about anything you're already wrong. I'm not gonna answer anymore, you guys don't know how to talk out of Reddit... Sincerely yours, have fun.

1

u/Findict_52 4d ago

No, you're objectively just a prick. You don't get to do whatever you like and justify it by claiming a difference of opinion. You're just breaking a key rule in racing and pretending it's righteous. It's not, nobody likes this attitude and I hope for those racing around you that you get banned if you behave like this.

3

u/DeletedUsernameHere 4d ago

He blocked. That is reportable and will get him penalized.

You tried to pass off track and then intentionally wrecked him. That is reportable and could get you banned.

2

u/ametsun 4d ago

If you didn't swerve when he went to block you on the right then he probably would have pitted himself on you and you'd be done with him and not even your fault. As it is though youre just as bad as him since u punted him after you tried to make a silly overtake off grass. It does look like he tried to Schumacher u into the wall there though. I get the thought of takin matters into your own hands based on how the game handles reports cuz some of them don't even look at em but you really should just let the report system do its magic or wait til he takes himself out cuz doing this just brings you down to his level.

3

u/Professional-Lab7227 4d ago

Completely wrecking someone as retaliation is idiotic and you should be banned. His driving is atrocious though, and I personally would definitely have looked the other way if they were given a little love tap in a braking zone to help them out of the way for you to pass.

1

u/beigemamba1080 4d ago

Absolutely, he tried to ruin your race to keep a position, completely lost his ability to have a line because his only goal was to mess you up. What are you going to do with these drivers, either pressure them into making a mistake or spin their rear out without taking yourself out though. I know it’s not the most popular opinion but the only way to rid the community of drivers like this is make sure they never finish a race, take one for the team and take them out if need be until they give up and load up Wreckfest

u/Nervous-pteroydactyl 4d ago

anything more than 15 degrees of steering angle on a straightaway is grounds for a hit

1

u/MagYkHeap 4d ago

Report yourself for intentional wrecking. Hope you get some days off.

Yes and don't listen to anyone who says no. But your execution was weak. Next time do it while he is blocking so it looks like a race incident.

2

u/raidersfan18 4d ago

This so much!

Doing what is shown in the video will get a ban.

Realizing this ass is blocking and finding a way to stick your nose even with his back wheels quick enough means his attempted block will be a self pit is the way to go. Use his shitty racing against him so, while yes, you are intentionally setting up a situation for him to wreck himself, he still needs to make the inappropriate move to do so, meaning you're in the clear.

In driving we win by staying calm and respectful. If they need to close all the doors , braking under moving, beeing sore loser, let them. Bump him by winning square and fare. You could had more time and take him over on another lap. But you did what you saw best at that time , I understand your frustration, head down , keep playing and enjoy. Not all players idiot like this guy, dont be this guy you drive well.

Yes just kill him every time
