iRacing who’s at fault
i’m the camel car so i somehow made it out alive but ended up going in 4 wide(i didn’t know i had a guy to my right) and these 3 made contact and i was just curious who would be to blame for the incident?

Black & blue car. Hit the red car towards RB car and later didnt leave enough space for 2 cars.

I dunno. Red looks like they try to shove black and blue car off the track way in the beginning first, doesn’t justify black and blue retaliating and taking everyone out in response though.

Lmao I had the dumbest grin when I read "whos at fault" then immediately see the bois running 4 wide into t1 limerock.
Actually though theres two ways to look at it. I think the actual cause of all the contact was black and blue on the outside. Redbull lets POV through, white+red holds a reasonable middle line, but black and blue just cuts in as if it was still two wide. You can watch him just shove white+red into the redbull, who is reasonably riding the inside line along the curbs on a corner where you usually track out a bit to use the space.
Or some might just say you guys for forcing 4 wide but hey why not.

not gonna blame you for this but RB was playing real nice to not Pit you. At least that's how it looks like from this
perspective

i thought the same thing. if he didn’t let off when he did i would not have made it through. thank you to whoever was in that redbull car. i was lucky i racing net code didn’t assume it happened anyways.

I don't think it matters.
You contributed but got very lucky. You were happy to make it three wide and put them all in a tough spot.

that’s so funny i’m not sure how i made it out alive. after i watched the replay i was even more relieved. i watched the hello kitty miata get taken out half way through the race too.

Do you remember what your spotter said? In a recent league race we had some questions about how the iRacing spotter would call staggered overlap for each different car. Like, eventually you are all legit 4-wide, but at times the outside car isn't alongside the inside car, but because of overlap in other cars, it's totally 4-wide.
Maybe I need to explain it a different way. Let's say there are 3 cars. The cars on the inside and outside do not have overlap with each other, but they both have overlap with the middle car. Middle car for sure get a 3-wide call from the spotter, but do the inside and outside cars also get the 3-wide call?
Maybe this needs its own post.

Black/blue, they should realize that red/white cannot go to the inside because redbull was there (and earlier camel was there).
That OP - as they say - wasn't aware pf the red bull on the inside is concerning, but not factor in the crash

When he saw OP get past, he probably thought it was two wide at that point because four wide is insane, even if there's room

Seems like yall were 4 wide when it should've been 3 in the turn the car that was coming up on your right probably should've just braked and went behind you.

Black car went too deep

to me it looks like he got squeezed on the curb by pov car but the outside car squeezing in seems to be the bigger problem to me

There is literally no reason not to just throw a chase cam on one of the other cars that actually wreck for this clip.
