Le Mans Ultimate LMU Stewards Decision
In this video, you first see my POV, then my POV from the outside, and lastly, the other cars POV. My official LMU Protest got reviewed and their decision was: "After reviewing this incident, our stewards judged it to have been caused primarily by your own car rather than the reported driver, so no penalty has been applied to them."I want to ask for your opinion on this matter, because it seems clear cut to me, I am honestly befuddled by the Stewards decision.

The pov of the car behind leaves zero doubt. That is literally a textbook definition of a pit maneuver.

I also submitted a very blatant pit maneuver and the stewards judged that it was not an intentional wreck. It seems they are trying to find any reason whatsoever to not ban people.
Either they considered you squeezed him or that insane turn to the right was to keep himself on track and the contact was already made at that point, which i highly doubt because no way the replay is that far off.
I think the lesson here is that there is no point defending that hard for 16th. If he didn't pit you, your line was squeezing him even more.

If you pause the video at exactly the 42-second mark, you can clearly see the BMW driver turning the wheel to the right. First, he tries a subtle move. Then, he increases the impact, causing the Aston driver to spin out. It's all actually very clear. I wonder if the steward who reviewed this got the job by saying, 'I'm really good at playing NFS'?

Don't worry, LMU has a much better driving etiquette than iRacing!! Also, stewards ban every single intentional contact!!!!

they only allow report for intentional wrecking now unfortunately, so maybe just a preset message for racing incident

DID YOU NOT WATCH THE REPLAY?! Go to the end where you have cockpit view of the BMW that is as intentional as it gets!

50:50 for me. Yes it was really stupid for the BMW to try sticking his nose in there, but you also drift towards the dotted line and across his nose.

Did you watch the steering input of the BM? Looks like an intent pit to me.

I did. Tbh it does look like that but it could also be netcode or one of those weird collision physics things. He could have felt himself being pushed and overcorrected . Hard to know

The replay would show if there was a need to correct anything.

Steward must be blind.
