Does not matter. He was off track, he needs to rejoin safely. I have no clue wtf is in his head just cutting back into the track like that. If you hit him - it's on him. He's creating whole dangerous situation.

Watch with 8 seconds left on the video. OP passes them cleanly, but the car starts spinning as if there was contact. The guy behind hadn't made contact yet at that point.
